motor vehicle License plates always on the outrageous cost increase !!
Have you ever, in the state of California, renewed your auto license tags, without a price increase? Used to be, as your vehicle got older, the cost would reduce. Yeah- I know--the State needs the money- well, so do the millions of UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE--and retired people, on a fixed income, who haven't seen a cost of living increase for many years now , and are being strangled, at the pump, by the high gas prices, which include hefty assorted State taxes. Ok folks--(for many people)---buy gas,and renew your license tags or buy groceries and feed your family---the choice is ours.

HEAR! HEAR! ThE SOCIAL Security people and and white house say: There is no increase in the cost of living.In my personal observation I've seen gigantic increases in : food,rent,electric home power,gas,water,medical care,dental care,insurance of all types,gasoline,auto repair,vet and pet treatment and care---as a matter of fact,i can't think of anything at all that hasn't increased disgustingly, in cost in the last four years-----can you ????

ReplyDeleteWhy is it we so often hear that something will be addressed "when Congress reconvenes" at a later date,or when some political office re opens after its hiatus, serious governmental business will be addressed etc. These government employees are paid by the week,month,year,24-7 they receive their paychecks,expense account monies,vacation pay ,insurance,retirement, monies etc. even while flood, earthquake , storm crises--(plural) and more are in the the full, active,devastation process---
People are dying, struggling for survival,burying their dead etc. while "officials" are adjourned at our heavily undeserved expense!!!!!!!

Does't any one in the government see the EMPLOYING PUBLIC IS BEING SCREWED--while we are suffering !!! While they're on a real free ride and have been, and will continue,until we kick some freeloading asses out.
Think about this when you go to the voting poles, and click on a name you've never heard of or an an office you know nothing about, or vote for the freeloading incumbent.
Unless you get off your ass and do something about it, your family will go hungry,and continue to to pay for some worthless politicians -------------FREE RIDE----WAKE UP!!--TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS--CITIZENS UNITE AND START TO PUT AN END TO THIS RAPE !!!!
Wow Andy Rooney retires from CBS 60 minutes. DIDJE EVER WONDER HOW A GUY CAN CONTRIBUTE SO MUCH TO TV AND JOURNALISM, FOR SO MANY YEARS??

In my opinion no one could ever replace him. News broadcasting has been and is, a better place for his having been here. I wish him peace,health and happiness for his remaining years--may they be many, and enjoyable. It,s been said we affect the lives of all we touch---Thanks for the touch.----------- If CBS hasn't thought of it, a "best of Andy Rooney show would draw lots of viewers.-----------Wow- now if only they would say that about me, when I retire.
